After a week in Rome for the Live Performers Meeting, a rather intense but greatly satisfying experience I am slowly regaining consciousness, catching up on the prioritized messages and trying to reflect a bit on all that has transpired in the last month and a half.
For now I am back with a quick post, originally appearing on the forum and now I am featuring it here. The very large Al-Jazeera network is now using modul8 for displaying graphics in the studio. While not the first time I have learned of large broadcast companies using modul8, I had a conversation with someone last summer who was working for CBS in New York, this is the time I have actual evidence of this use. The concept is rather simple but very often the best solutions are simple ones. Apparently with all of the money that Al-Jazeera has their studio technicians know a simple and inexpensive solution when they see one.
